Social Media's Adoption by Lawyers
We have conducted a research programme into the legal profession’s use of social media. We have reviewed Twitter followings and posts and LinkedIN pages and followers for over 100 UK legal firms and a number of the top international firms in the main jurisdictions.
The conclusions of our report, to be published in the autumn of 2014, will show that there are huge variations between law firms in their success in embracing social media. A tiny minority of firms do not participate and a few operate only using closed accounts, for example on Twitter, which prevents us from assessing their effectiveness.
